Selecting The Right Welding Gear To Protect Legs

Are you looking for additional protection for your legs on your next welding job? At Elliotts, we understand that some jobs require additional protection for yourself and/or your workers. We offer an extensive range of gear to suit all types of welding.

WELDING TROUSERS

There are a few different options when it comes to trousers. In our Big Red Range, you can choose either Full Seat or Seatless Trouser or for a more breathable option – Chaps. Elliotts’ BIG RED® welders apparel uses soft, premium, selected red butt BIG RED® leather, which is extremely durable, flame resistant and offers excellent protection from welding spatter and dross.

When deciding, the choice ultimately comes down to comfort and preference. Here are the options:

Big Red® Welders Full Seat Trousers

The Big Red® Full Seat Welding Trousers are designed for heavy-duty welding and to be worn comfortably over your work trousers. The full seat design offers maximum protection, and the articulated knee design allows for greater movement and comfort. Fitted with a fly, belt loops and adjustable side strap, the Full Seat Trousers come in three different sizes.

Elliotts BIG RED® Welders Trousers have been independently third party CE Certified to ISO 11611 Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes.

Big Red® Welders Seatless Trousers

Big Red Seatless Welding TrousersThe Big Red® Seatless Welding Trousers, like the full seat version, are designed for heavy-duty welding and to be worn comfortably over your work trousers. The seatless design allows for comfort and greater movement. Fitted with a fly, belt loops and adjustable side strap, the Seatless Trousers also come in three different sizes.

Elliotts BIG RED® Welders Trousers have been independently third party CE Certified to ISO 11611 Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes.

Wakatac® Proban® Trousers

Wakatac Proban Welding TrousersMade from Wakatac Proban, the Wakatac® Proban® Welding Trousers are designed to be worn over trousers and have a drawstring closure. This lightweight material offers comfort and breathability for the wearer.

All WAKATAC® FR Cotton Welding apparel is made from safe-to-wear Proban® 100% cotton. WAKATAC® PROBAN® fabrics meet the requirements of the OEKO-TEX® standard 100 ‘Confidence in Textiles’.
