GingerCloud’s Modified Rugby Program (MRP) has come a long way since launching in 2014. From 16 to 160 MRP Player & PlayerMentor participants, from 1 pilot team to 8 teams at 6 clubs, MRP is transforming team sports for boys and girls with learning and perceptual disabilities across South East QLD.
As a result of these outstanding statistics, early this month, GingerCloud Foundation were awarded the 2016 Nick Farr-Jones Spirit of Rugby Award for their contribution to rugby through the ‘Modified Rugby Program’ they developed two years ago.
In its 5th year, the Nick Farr-Jones Spirit of Rugby Award recognises an active participant of the game in Australia who best upholds the spirit and ethos of rugby both on and off the field.
The award acknowledges outstanding contribution of an individual at any level of rugby, so this is a huge accolade for a program that has only been running for three years.
