Coronavirus: Tri-City NAACP hosts pop-up vaccination clinic

The Tri-City NAACP, working with other businesses and organizations, is hosting a vaccination clinic on Saturday to further the percentage of vaccinated citizens.

Research shows that the delta variant is surging through populations with low vaccination rates, confirming that Covid-19 vaccines offer strong protection against a coronavirus mutant.

From 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Covid-19 vaccinations will be offered to people 12 years old and older, regardless of health insurance or immigration status ,at Bethel Community Church, 600 East Tabor Ave, Fairfield.

Youths 12 to 17 years old will need in-person or virtual parental consent at the event.

Registering for the vaccine is provided at Booking an appointment reserves both the first and second dose scheduled for August 21. Appointments times will remain the same for both dates.

Social distance and mask safety will be required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will also be given to those in need.
